There are a number of great breweries in the metro Orlando area, and one of our favorites is Crooked Can Brewing Company in Winter Garden, Florida. If you enjoy craft beers—or if you’re looking for a consistently high-quality brewery with accessible options to start exploring them—this place is definitely worth a visit. And revisits.
Founded in 2014, Crooked Can Brewing Company offers eight core beers and about as many seasonal/rotating beers at their taproom. The core lineup of beers includes:
- High Stepper – American IPA
- Florida Sunshine – Lager
- Cloud Chaser – Hefweizen
- McSwagger’s Own – Amber ale
- Workaholic – American pale ale
- Domestic Bliss – Belgian golden strong ale
- McStagger – Imperial IPA
- Up Yonder – New England IPA
A couple of our favorites are the McStagger and the Domestic Bliss. Just watch out… they’re smooth, delicious drinking at 9% and 9.5% ABV respectively!
Crooked Can Brewing Company is located inside Plant Street Market, a larger food hall-type establishment with a variety of food and crafts vendors. So, it’s a cool place to eat while you drink, with options like coal-fired pizza, empanadas, barbecue, sushi, mac and cheese varieties, and more.
There’s indoor seating throughout the market, but there’s also a pleasant, large patio running the length of the building on a quiet tree-lined street. It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy a few drinks and laughs.
Events at Crooked Can Brewing Company
We love Crooked Can for personal visits, but we also love it for business purposes, as it’s a great place for client meetings and special events. The brewery has a private events space called the Barrel Room. It has indoor and outdoor seating totaling 2,000 square feet, accommodating up to 150 guests. There’s a private entrance and private restrooms, a full bar, and audio/visual capabilities. The entire brewery and market can also be rented out for large corporate events and parties, accommodating up to 850 people between the indoor and outdoor capacity.
